R32 Gtr Gearbox In R32 Gtst

hey all i am building a 30/26 for my gtst so my first question is will a r32 gtr gearbox bolt up to a rb30, and second question is does anyone have a link to info about making the gearbox rear wheel drive, or can anyone just give me info on the things you need to do the rb25 gearbox conversion if its easier? thanks.

Use the search button, this was covered not long ago. In short, you are much better off going with an RB25 box.

Just as strong & a lot less hassle.

i have done the gtr box to rwd conversion, its a lot of work and i would not do it again.

attached screenshots from fast, lets play spot the difference..

if your observant, you might notice the only difference is one extra spacer and different speedo gear drive as the r33 is electronic speedo, not mechanical like r32
