lol, I think about all 3 of you when I'm in bed. :3some:

on a serious note, how tall are you Dane? we both have a small advantage in that we have long put ourselves in spaces where we shouldn't fit having been japanese car fans for years. most people would tell you that you can't drive a 180 or that I can't drive a S13 but I manage. in fact my S13 still has the same seat in it that Cat Coleiro used when she owned it and you know how tiny she is next to me.

As far as the exige goes I was fine in it. It was a bit "intimate" when both troy and I were in at the same time, and I wouldn't want to have to get out of it if the thing was on fire but once inside I was happy. headroom surprisingly not an issue. knee room would be my only concern for you.

I haven't been in a caterham but if I can drive ruseel ingalls old formula ford (I can and have) I reckon I can drive some pommy lotus 7 copy no trouble.

or we can do it brisby style and buy a car? I could be easily talked into an E36 M3 purchase (cheap as dirt) and do Spa, Ring and maybe silverstone or zandvoort too?

You will fit Caterhams fine, ditto Lotus. You may not be comfortable, but its like banging a hot girl in a kinky position when you are getting cramps on the "hammy"...somehow you manage to battle on

That's So fhhhhucked. You get that too!

Ever dribble on her face accidently at your moment of high enjoyment?

They normally make me wear a bag on my head, so that captures any dribble (...still counts!)

he says it like a joke but it's true. that's how I spot him in a crowd. look for the bloke with the paper bag hanging at the ready out of his back pocket "just in case"....

and as if push on. if I get a cramp I just whine and lie in the foetal position quietly swearing for a few mins till I'm good to go. it still counts as love making right?

I'm 6'4 Baron. Comfortable for me (and you most likely) is different to most peoples idea of comfortable. If I fit with a helmet on and can splay my legs far enough to get the wheel in between them then I feel as if I'm in a Bentley baby! I can squeeze myself into an FD, but the wheel is a little low. Figure it would probably be the same with an Exige.

The Caterham videos that Troy and Snowy put up at Spa looked like outrageous fun so I'd love to give one of them a go for a day, but the whole buying a car and driving to multiple tracks would be too cool. I'm with you all the way on the E36 too  The only spanner in the works is that my girlfriend may kill me if I head to Europe with the boys again, so will need to work out some holiday plans with her first!

Smooth. I figure if I can squeeze myself into RX3's and 7's then I can probably get into an Exige or Caterham, but don't want to be rudely surprised if I don't and have booked one for a day.

I chortled

yep, you are spot on. the only hurdle really is the non-adjustable steering column but they have tiny steering wheels which helps. at 6"4 you'll be fine. I'm 6"2 so bugger all difference.

dude, just ship her off with my girlfriend. let them do whatever the fk it is girls do. caterham would be awesome, but availability at spa etc needs to be checked in advance.

trust me, once you've paid the exorbitant hire fee for the day you WILL fit even if you have sit on the roof and steer with your feet!!! while ron was trying to talk us into their brand new GT3 porsche (and we were crumbling) we looked at the lotus and troy and ron said to me, do you want to sit in one to make sure you'll fit for spa next week. I just said. don't worry I'll fit. if not, just cut my legs off at the knee!

We'll send them off in the direction of the nearest shoe store with a credit card (a maxed one... :whistling: ) and maybe we can get some peace... or an M3 to thrash the panties off!

Much the same as when I hired the Radical for the first time. I was sick, and it was raining all day but by God after forking out for the hire, flights and accomodation I was getting in that car! I like the idea of the Megane R26R around the 'ring, would be a hoot me thinks.

But buying and selling a car would be even better. I have family in England that could palm it off if I didn't have time to... hmmmmmm

I am pretty wrecked from a MEGA days driving. Will start a new thread in a day or two when I am nursing a hangover one morning in a hotel...but in the meantime. Check out the road in the background. Switzerland, Itlay and Austrian Alps all in one day. It was cool!

awesome! Reminds me of watching the Tour de France through the Pyrenees and Alps stages and thinking how much better it would be if the riders had to start at 30sec intervals and had cars instead of bikes...

    • I believe Unimog is the only vehicle that has it (from the manufacturer). I haven't seen aftermarket permanently connected kits, but I haven't looked either.
    • Ha ha ha, can't overthink when exhausted... Oh how I wish I had that power! I can be absolutely dead set shot, and my brain will still go "we need a good 3 or 4 hours to just think about everything and anything before you may sleep... My biggest thing is making sure I give myself enough sleep. I don't operate on even 7 hours of sleep! I attempt to give my body 9.5hours sleep a night to be able to function. I don't sleep the whole 9.5, but I need to make sure I offer a big window. I also take a single supplement, which is to help with long term health, and fighting inflammation, and I notice it helps massively. Especially me sleeping, and just less "achey" in the body. Have also kicked sugar, and gluten. A majority of people with ADHD don't go well with gluten. It causes a really interesting natural opioid overdose in the brain, which causes bodily issues and sensory issues.
    • Yeah that's what I meant, permanently connected not manual
    • Yep. But typically that's just run a hose down to the tyre while stationary.   Oh and the Unimog will automatically air up and air down tyres from the onboard computer for you too.
    • There was a good video somewhere, maybe Kurzgesagt that linked physical activity to ADHD/Anxiety/Insomnia etc. Basically the body WILL spend energy doing something if you don't spend it doing anything physical. It isn't fun, but I personally have noticed I've never been overthinky, or unable to sleep if I'm physically exhausted from doing a lot. The musings around it seem to indicate that this is one of the reasons/mechanism that physical activity improves mental health/wellbeing etc, by more or less not using that 'extra' energy to overthink, be anxious, inflammation, etc. There's also the fact that every obnoxious exerciser ever says it's great and helps which is extremely annoying. Like people who say the same thing about travel being the best thing ever. I mean, they clearly are, but blah. I started doing a LITTLE myself (think 3x15min per week) and honestly did notice the benefits, aiming at life quality when older. Which is sooner than you think. Getting something into your routine that you can actually make a routine has helped me at least. This post brought to you by procrastination between sets.
