Hi guys, i have been reading the threads and cant decide on what to get.

hks gt2535 or go bigger.

i'm aiming for around 220rwkw on a rb20.

1-1.2bar, max power is dependent on soo many things, but bottom line is I wouldnt have a clue - have seen 230rwkw at 1.2bar with 8000 redline on cefiro RB20, minimal other mods.

i believe the HKS GT2540 (350ps) should do fine in single form for a RB20.

fyi, a guy with a R32 GTS-T and HKS GT2535 had his car on my friend's dyno where it only made ~190rwkw on about 25psi, so i don't think they're all that great for top end power, although the mid-torque was pretty nice.

RS500 the guy with the 2535 and 190rwkw was doing something wrong, as it should make that power at under 1bar.

groove32 for the power you want it has already been stated that the 2530 is perfect for that power. Its been done many times on RB20's 1.1 -1.2 bar and 220-230rwkw, plus awesome midrange torque and response.

If your looking for an alternative to that then a highflowed r33gtst turbo is similar, but supposedly laggier and requires more boost.

you can get exc condition used 2530's for under 2 grand. you will of course need all the support systems and an ecu reprogram or replacement to get the most from it. you'll also likely need injectors.

I have seen it before where the RB20 has had trouble with getting over 200rwkw, and it was the pipe between the AFM and turbo which was sucking shut. Something else to think about when upgrading.

yeah that rubber intake pipe is a problem over 1 bar on all models. The Hpi R34 had the same problem, i currently have the same problem on my r33! gonna change to a hard pipe.
