How To Remove The Side Door Courtesy Light Lens

sorry for starting a new thread if someone has already posted it

sound like a silly question but you know what i kneel on the floor for half an hour and got no idea of how

i just simply pry it with a flathead srew driver

i feel the lens is going to break :D

I did this: easy just take ur time.

Start by pulling with ur finger tips the edge of the trim where the red lens thing is (outer edge). You want to be firm but not a quick yank, just slow force...

Once the tabs pull out continue along the bottom of the door trim until you get to the inside corner.

open the door, lay under it and hold out the door trim. With a small flat blade screw driver wedge it in one end of the bulb and then push the end out of the clip.

Then just grab the bulb and pull it out.

Take off negative terminal of battery as lights will be on otherwise. Just roll windows down first.

+1 on disconnecting the battery first, otherwise the bulb gets hot ....as I quickly found out when replacing it for LED ones.
