I know often theory can sometimes lose out in practice, but looking at how a BOV works when under boost, you have both the spring tension, and the boost signal line ot the head of the BOV stopping it from opening.

Even allowing for the possibly lower boost pressure in the signal line, and delay in pressurising the line, i cant see that the concern about leaking BOV is justified, espcially with the diaphragm setup of the Trust BOVs

I gotta a set which are fine, but I'd run with new one/s 'cause they're adjustable for different app's. For the record, I run 2x Turbosmart Type 2's on mine, and they've been fine.
