Hello all,

I have just complted a manual conversion on my R34, now when i put my foot down on the clutch i get about 1-2" of free play before it has any resistance, once past this point the clutch operate's fine. Sometimes the pedal comes to a rest at this point instead of returning all the way to the top.

From having a quick search it sounds like i need to adjust the clutch pedal? I do this on the master cylinder under the dash yeah? Take the pin out that joins the pedal and cylinder and turn the U shapped fork? which way do i turn it?

We have bled every point on the hydraulic system, and im still using the big U shaped dampner thingy, nothing but fluid is coming out.

Cheer's,

i adjusted mine in my 4age corolla... same process i would imagine. mine was only engaging right at the top....undid the bolts, i turned the fork clockwise and now it engages earlier.... so u might need to go anti clockwise to bring it out... Where does the clutch engage for you?

saying that when i changed my clutch master cylinder...

before i bleed it i had the issue your havng with the freeplay and not returing to the top... once bleed worked fine....
