Hi

In the middle of a manual conversion on an R33 GTST

My T/O bearing touches the clutch plate fingers and spins with the engine when i turn the engine at the balancer bolt

Is this normal?

Ive tried adjusting master cylinder pushrod and shorting the slave pushrod, to no effect

Ive tried putting washers behind the pivot bolt, put 1 at a time in, and eventually put 3 washers behind pivot bolt to no effect

Clutch fork is not bent

Or will this go away once the engine is back up and running?

Any ideas?

Yeah if I push the clutch fork towards the front of the car it comes off the clutch plate fingers ( push slave cylinder rod back in to itself )

Once the engine is fired and spinning at idle it would probably push the bearing back a touch anyways ya reckon??

Might bring the pivot ball back to 1 washer, 3 is a bit excessive yeah?
