i recently got a r34 gt-t it has a sports n slent switch does any1 no if this is stock or what it does?

haha ive got the traction control button for the side ways action. i was thinking it might make the exhaust quite but it doesnt

do you have an aftermarket blow off valve installed on your car? my brother has a BOV in his s15 with a dial on the inside of his car that lets you control how loud or quiet it is, except his is set up that if you turn it one way you get turbo flutter and if you turn it the other way you get the standard noise .

the switch ur talking about is for the exhaust, it has a cable going into the rear muffler that is connected to like a butterfly which when u switch to sport opens the hole way and silent closes a lil.

its f**king pointless and does nothing at all i reckon, i changed my exhaust after a month of having my car and had to remove this big cable from my rear guards.

i think it was a factory option

My R34 had the exact same thing as the guy above ^^^.

Did fark all, i just cut up the original muffler and my R34 sounded like a jet fighter when it came on boost muahahahah

oh no wonder it doesnt do anything coz i have an aftermarket exhaust system useless button then .. thanks for help
