I am always so careful around merges but i have seen some real retards.

When merging who has right of way continuing lane or merging lane????

Are you required to indicate when merging from two lanes to one????

with something like freeway entrances.. continuing lane has right of way, merging lane indicates

other merges from 2 lanes to 1 lane whoever is in front should go first, and both lanes indicate

acording to the drivesafe handbook (the license handbook) the car with a portion in front has right of way

Also, when merging, BOTH lanes have to indicate, regardless of location
