Anyone Renewed Rego For 6 Months?

Ive renewed registration for 6 months just then to move it to february of every year (less frantic time), my question is will i have to do another pink slip? Even though i did one just then? I hate running around doing this stuff but i guess i should have asked first before i renewed....

call the RTA and confirm but last i checked A pink slip is valid for 42 days from the date that it is issued. so id say you need to do a re-inspection

i get 6 month rego and yes you have to get a new pink slip every 6 months

nope anyone can. i did it recently for the commodore before i sold it

yep anyone can do it, I just did it to a sti I had then sold it.

You have to get a pink slip every time you rego the car, no matter if its 6 months or 12

dealers can do 3 months at a time. they only introduced the 6 month thing in the last year or 2 for the general public

I just renewed my rego for 6 months again on the 12th of September and did not need an inspection report.

If you register for 6months every time you would be the 5th row down on that table, which requires an inspection every twelve months.

If you had 12 months, then moved to 6, you will need a report.

If you had 6 months and do another 6, you do not need one.

If you had 12 then went to 6 then decided to go to 12 after that, you will need a report after every time.

i do 6 month rego's on my 180 because i keep on threatening to cancel it... lol
