definitely 2.5 mate, thats what i've got in mine, and it feels great,

baysidebluer34, the same thing happened with my system, for the first month or so it was ridiculously loud, and it didnt feel as torquey low down, but now it feels great, it doesnt sound stupid, its quite quiet in normal driving in fact, and pulls harder in the low rev ranges now... not too sure why the change happened though but glad it did, i was getting ready to change back to the stock system just as the change happened as it was just stupidly loud and felt like it was missing too much torque

i've got a 3.5" that gives good sound...not sure about the performance though..
