Simple Mods For My R34

Hi guys,

Recently imported my skyline, and am interested in doing some various mods....

I dont want to go overboard and spend alot of money, but anything to improve performance would be great.

Im new to the skyline scene, and would appreciate any pointers.

Hey mate, good job on the new car. try type a few keywords in the search area and have a look at what others are doing. once you have a few ideas run em past people in here for there recomendations but you wont get many responses with such a broad question as people tend not to help people who havent searched at all. this place stores a wealth of info you just gotta find it!!

Exhaust system (full turbo back 3 inch or so)

Front mount intercooler setup

Boost controller and run 10psi

From there I'd work on suspension...

Lowered springs & shocks to match/coilovers

You can search pretty well all of these in great detail on this site... that's the rough order I'd look into mods anyways

this guy is on the ball, just add aftermarket coilpacks and some decent tyres and u should have some fun with it.

ur looking arounf 5k + for that + install

dont go past 10psi - 12 psi on a standard r34 turbo either

this has been posted all over the net, a pretty good starting place for mods.

put some LEDs in the dash cluster ... easy 8-10rwkw for < $50

On a more serious note .. if you don't want to spend much, start saving up for a new timing belt and water pump (major service) and do those first unless they've been done already. Oh and put some good oil in the engine and gearbox.

Performance mod? Get a high flow panel filter... the stockies are usually quite restrictive.
