r34s and some late r33s i believe use pull type clutches, unlike earlier models using push type. yea the pull types have always been much more spendy than the push types. im not 100% on whether the clutch is purely dictated by the gearbox. i think it might come down to the slave cylinder/clutch fork setup your working with, which probably wont come with the gearbox. im sure you could convert the pull type gear to push type, but the expense in parts may end up costing more than the difference between the push and pull type clutches, therefore making the conversion pointless. unless you were expecting to go through a few clutches lol

how much power are you going to be pushing? that will make all the difference when choosing a clutch

The exedy heavy duty cushion button is a good clutch IMO for moderate power. I have an NPC Button now which is great but probably a bit annoying for everyday driving

Hey mate,

Give Andrew Sullivan at Kudos a call, he's the supplier of the clutch you're looking at on ebay, he'll sort you out.

At least you don't have a gtt, add another $400 to the clutch price... That's getting done on Monday...

thanks heaps for the help guys!!! :) i ended up gettin the one off ebay... thats ridiculous how the price jump is so high!!! literally double the price!!!

i just got my car back yesterday and the conversion went pretty well!! :ermm: makes a huge difference power wise!! cant wait to go on track in a couple of weeks!!!!
