am contemplating going with a semi-aggresive offset ( aka guard roll only...no cutting or expensive body work)

anyone know if I can get away with either 19 x 9F 10R -9offsets on both ...or 10.5 rear with 0 offset?? also dont mind slight ( -2.5deg camber) and/or stretched tyres.

thanks oje.

had a look at that website...but get varying comments.

some with very low or negative offsets claim roll & pull while there are others with a higher offset saying the had cut & pulled fenders.

def dont want to be cutting anything, but rolling is fine coz i've rolled the fenders on a couple of my other cars with no issues.

What Width & Offsets are you running atm???

Stretch + Camber and you'll be able to fit it.

I'm Still waiting on my wheels to arrive from the states so i can't tell you yet.

Size, width and Offsets.

19x9.5" +0 Fronts

19x10.5" +0 Rears

atm very conservative

18 X 9 / 10 +31 with 245/40

there's 2 sets of wheels im currently looking at

19 * 9/10 -9 both f & r

or another set

19 * 9.5 +15

19 * 10.5 0

I like the 10.5 because it's got massive 5 inch dish

you will find that rolling the guards are a must on the 2nd set (10.5 -0 etc) victor has 19s on his. 9.5 front +12 or +5 and its poking outside the guards abit. illl dble check with him and see if itll help, but def needs rolling and stretch tyres. if you lower the car it will tuck inside slightly also.

thks Richard.

How wide are your gtc's on the rear and what offsets if you don't mind me asking?

I'm contemplating a set of eurolines with nice dish.. wasnt really my choice of wheels at first...but i saw a pic of one in g35driver... dark blue car with massive dished eurolines....just thought I'd try a different look.

2nd set would be the go

fronts will be flush with no camber

rears will be poke , unless running around -3.5deg camber

i had 9.5" +17 Fronts with around -3/4 deg camber and it sat in about 12mm or so.

& 11" +10 Rears with around -3.5deg camber and it was poking 2-3mm.

Guud u started this topic . Im pretty sure richards runnin 20x 10.5 + 18 rear wid 255s.

Im waitin on my whees to arrive from work japan . I bought da varianzas 20x9.5+10 f and 20x10.5+18r.

I no il need to roll my guards once i drop. But dono bout da front.

Anyways gld to c people step their game up .

f9.5 +20 r10.5 +18 steves spot on, im running stretched on the rears 255, if 275s were slapped on thn i need my guards rolled. even with the 255s and being lowered i have a few but rare occasions of rubbing on the rears if roads are bouncy. hope this pics help.

np. yerh im on the same boat, been looking at moving back to the evo side or the new is250, but the wa boys are telling me otherwise.

same here mate, trying to convince the other half that an evo 9 is actually a better family car. Had a look at a couple already but importing one in may be a better option.

decided to hold off on the wheels for now coz after looking at the flushness of ur wheels, the ones I was looking at would stick out 22mm more...too much poke and would require a lot of roll/pull and maybe -3.5 to -4 camber

Mine is actually 19x8.5 +5 front, 19x9.5 +12 rear, and they are poking out. Not the best offset to lower the ride height without doing body and camber works.

I think I am going STI! >_< But only after buying a house and saving up.

I am not selling my V if possible.

Hi Victor,

You'll be fine mate, our cars naturally camber negative when lowering so u will find that those wheels that look like they're sticking out actually tuck in once lowered.

i just wanted a different look...too many bigger and nicer gtc's out there at the moment >_<
