Hey there,

Due to unforeseeable/family circumstances after owning my car for less than a month i have regretfully come to the point where i have to sell my car.

This is a 2004 Nissan Skyline 350gt, 70th Anniversary addition Pearl White. When purchased from the dealer it had 26,200km and after my ownership it has 26,800km on the odometer.

The car Includes:

-Bose Sound System with In-Dash 6 cd Stacker. (Including expander on the radio as Japanses cars only reach 90mhz so you can now get FM stations such as 104.1,96.1) - also have tape-AV converter for the Ipod =D

-Full factory cream leather interior

-Digital A-C with dual zone climate control

-Heated front seats

-Reverse Camera

-Trip Computer

-New breaks replaced in September 2010

-A MTA inspection completed on the 8/9/2010 which is available. Car given a score of 8/10

-Because i bought this car from a dealer it also comes with 3 years warranty. Rego until September 2011 and 12 months road side assistance ending in September 2011.

-The screen can be converted to be Navigation and TV compatible to Australian roads and channels but would need professional modification to have these aftermarket options put in.

-Completely complied with Australian laws and is registered in NSW.

-Courtesy lighting when doors are open

-Side airbags

The car is in excellent condition with only tiny surface scratches hardly visible in daylight. The only visible scratched paint is on the bonnet, there is a scratch the length of a finger nail and as thin as toothpic. There is some unfortunate guttering of the tires but as i have only had the car for less than a month the guttering took place with the previous owner. There is also a tiny chip within the windscreen, about a 1/6 the size of a 5c coin

This car offers everything a $100,000 car could give. It has the power of a V8 at 208Kw and the luxury of an upmarket BMW. As i am selling this car privately but with all the options given by a dealer such as 12month rego/roadside assitance and 3 years warranty covered by the dealer the asking price is $33,500 ONO. The car is due for an service at 35,000km so you are purchasing a car as if you are buying it from a dealer with a recent service.

I live inner city and am willing to only allow inspection to serious buyers. I am willing to meet halfway if you live to far from the city. Please contact me here or on my email at [email protected].

The car is listed else where and i will post here if it is sold. Payment must be via one of the options cash/bank deposit/bank Cheque or paypal.

    • It is an absolute lottery. They can and have died at stock boost with low usage at all. The turbos are now anywhere up to 36 years old!
    • Huh, wonder why it blew then. I never really beat on the car THAT hard lol I dailyed it and the turbo blew after 6 months
    • That's odd, it works fine here. Try loading it on a different device or browser? It's Jack Phillips JDM, a Skyline wrecker in Victoria. Not the cheapest, but I have found them helpful to find obscure parts in AU. https://jpjdm.com/shop/index.php
    • Yeah. I second all of the above. The only way to see that sort of voltage is if something is generating it as a side effect of being f**ked up. The other thing you could do would be to put a load onto that 30V terminal, something like a brakelamp globe. See if it pulls the voltage away comepletely or if some or all of it stays there while loaded. Will give you something of an idea about how much danger it could cause.
    • I would say, you've got one hell of an underlying issue there. You're saying, coils were fully unplugged, and the fuse to that circuit was unplugged, and you measured 30v? Either something is giving you some WILD EMI, and that's an induced voltage, OR something is managing to backfeed, AND that something has problems. It could be something like the ECU if it takes power from there, and also gets power from another source IF there's an internal issue in the ECU. The way to check would be pull that fuse, unplug the coils, and then probe the ECU pins. However it could be something else doing it. Additionally, if it is something wired in, and that something is pulsing, IE a PWM circuit and it's an inductive load and doesnt have proper flyback protection, that would also do it. A possibility would be if you have something like a PWM fuel pump, it might be giving flyback voltages (dangerous to stuff!). I'd put the circuit back into its "broken" state, confirm the weird voltage is back, and then one by one unplug devices until that voltage disappears. That's a quick way to find an associated device. Otherwise I'd need to look at the wiring diagrams, and then understand any electrical mods done.   But you really should not be seeing the above issue, and really, it's indicating something is failing, and possibly why the fuse blew to begin with.
