Yeah and us 4 door owners stick together.  You just try and divide us!

If R34's were eligble thats what I would get no questions about it. Maybe I should wait the 2 months and see if anybody has plates. but with my info i think it will be close to 6 months before anybody has plates

Not picking a fight but name me a 6cyl, locally delivered sedan available for under $20K with as much street cred and performance potential as a Skyline...

4 Doors go faster!! :O

what about a maxima for like 20-23k? it's got a decent motor, locally delivered which will improve resale, you can get like a 98-2001 model, it's just as luxurious on the inside and you get log books! or a magna

* edit: and you'll actually be able to insure it for a reasonable price (half the price with a *big* company which has pretty much anything goes policies)

Fair call... And it's still a Nissan... :O But not really performance oriented being FWD and pimped up inside...

Magna... Strong car but no thanks... Just another plebmobile to me...

Neither car has as much potential as a Skyline...

Insurance on my Skyline is not a problem as I'm 27, Rating 1... Might be a hassle for the younguns though...

E55? Hell yeah! Way out of my price range though...

Go the 4 door

I found that insurance is cheaper

they are not as common

dont draw as much unwanted attention from the boys in blue.

more fun when you pull up at the lights as others dont always recognise it as a skyline - untill they see my tail lights :-)

I dont mind an auto, (though there are manuals out there or you could convert one) as IMHO a turbo and auto combination is quicker for mild street level upgrades.

2.5L turbo, 4wd, 4ws, Stegea's are not that expensive.

I think you may have been getting confused with the very limited Autech (sp?) GTR equiped models.

Just consider that the 4wd will rob some power from the motor. But with a few mods you can make these thing boogy :).

Personally i would love to get one of these and transfer all my mods over from my coupe. Simply because it is more unique and has the 4wd.

Nothing like a RB25/30 combo with ported heads and a 500-600hp roller-bearing turbo, to compensate for the lack of the RB26DETT engine, that comes with the AUTECH version :).

:P

I love my 4 door, they are just as much fun as the 2 doors but more practical. I decided to get one after I had my silvia for a year and 2 doors just pissed me off.
