So far from what I can see of the people who have said "in":

5 for option 1

3 for option 2

2 for don't care

+1 extra for option 1 - my mate with the vx

give it a couple more days but looks like it is going to be Doncaster :/

Been waiting on a call back from Village, guy has been on leave and should be back tomorrow.

doncaster is good, but do not go to the top level parking, f**king humps, i can't remember how many times i ding-ed my exhaust at that carpark, danger, just not the top carpark.

at doncaster, its unlikely that your car will get stolen, because, without that ticket, you can't take your car out.

Unless you get a ticket by driving in with a bomb.... we can just park all our cars around the Nur

:D ...true that will ensure nurs safety 100%...great idea...

Hey guys,

I spoke to my village contact and there is good news.

I told him 99% chance it will prob be Doncaster

1. Tickets for Adults including glasses for 10-20 people is $14, above 20 and I might be able to get abit cheaper

2. I need to tell him on Monday the 11th the exact number of how many are coming. So people who say you are coming have to come!

This is because I can prebook seats with my contact. eg. if there is 15 of us I can say middle of the cinema, middle row, 15 people across. We don't have to prepay but there has to be 15 of us at the ticket counter on the Friday night.

If people decide to come after the 11th then I can probably get you the discount but unfortunately you probably wont sit with the group.

$14 bucks...thats sweet bro...as good as my vouchers thing..lol...we will go with that...i am in for sure...might be bringing along my mrs but not sure if she can make it..ill confirm for her later...but put me down for sure....

You have no idea how much fun I would have doing this

hahaha...i know..its a lot of fun to double park...then watch the other guy getting angry because someone they know double parked him and he cant leave now...done that so many times...love it... :D

SO evil.... lol. As mentioned with the parking, doncaster seems to be the best for safety. Those prices for 3d is awesome. I'm usually paying around 18-20 bucks. If you need 2o peeps, I can easily invite more.

HAHAHA!!! dun you worry...we will make it safe...double park your car car and this wont let anyone be able to steal your car..hehehe... :)

Alright, it will be Doncaster.

this means: meet at Apple Peel Car Wash -> Doncaster Shopping Centre -> ?

Unfortunetly I just checked Sky High's opening times:

  • Open 7 days a week including public holidays
  • Gates open Monday to Friday 9am-10pm
  • Gates open Weekends 8am-10pm

:(

so we will need to think of somewhere else to cruise to after the movie.

Things I can confirm now:

Meet location: Apple Peel Car Wash - 1 Fitzsimons Lane, Templestowe

Meet Time: 7:00-7:30pm on a Friday, 15th Oct

Leaving time: ? - To be finalised - need to check with village guy the starting time, probably leave around 8:00pm though, can chat in Doncaster car park for a bit.

Destination: Doncaster Shopping Centre

Price: ? - $14 - need to count numbers properly, but that should be right

Hey guys,

    • I have done a lot of research before posting here and on gtruk forum. couldn't find anything. I have my gauges all part except the needle itself. the needle has a extremely small hole in the center, but the shaft going to the needle is extremely small and appears to have nothing to index it either. doesn't seem strong enough to simple pry or pull without damaging something. Already tried the old spoon trick on a extra triple meter I have from a gtt, but no luck. the center cap comes off easily but the hole in the meter face plate aren't big enough to get over the needle itself. figured this would be my best place to find someone who might have actually removed theirs. wonder if there is some type of small pin press tool to push the pin in while pulling the needle base off.
    • Ok...its taking me long enough to finally do this.  Feck financial security...heart disease will get me soon enough anyway So welcome to the garage..."Clem" Belsil80 has been running a 370Z in Super TT series. So after entering with him in last years Winton 300 i figured I  need my own car. Seems SAU Vic race cars need to be yellow....{tick} Reckon with enough motor i will be able to make up for the lack of talent and stay ahead of the 370Z... but the LS powered S13 and E36s are a ways up the road Aim is to have a car that doesnt stop or turn but has a bit of shed built motor with jam...maybe some cream  First step is getting this ex drift car log booked I am keeping faithful silver car. As the road-club car gets upgrades the race car wil get the sloppy seconds
    • Assuming that they will come off without damage at all.... i would have thought just pull straight up off the spindle with a something or other than can reach underneath. Have you searched for youtube vids of people doing similar on R34s or any other Nissan from the same vintage? They should be the same technique, in all likelihhood.
    • Keeping in mind that sandblasting is really aggressive on softer metals like cast alloy, and you can do damage that you might regret. For trash wheels, not a problem. For wheels with value/scarcity issues, etc.... perhaps a less aggressive media is a better choice?
    • Don't get all high and mighty. Experienced spanner wielders know exactly what effort is required to release an Oof.
