Ok so i've searched and have done some reading, just want to clear some stuff up.

I would like to beefen up the ass end of my 32 sedan mainly my driveshafts, from what i've read you can stick in a GTR centre into my R200 case then i would be able to use the driveshafts. Would the driveshafts then go into my GTST hubs/bearings or would they need swapping out also?

Are the internal diff centre splines completely different to the GTST's? The GTR halfshafts are 6x1 bolt, mine are 5x1 bolt. Are the GTR driveshafts internal spline(on the end of the bare driveshafts) completely different also?

I know it sounds like a lot of f**king around but i currently have some goodies in the back and my TEINS and KAAZ 2way are only a year old if that.

Or the other option is to get a bare GTR subframe with centre and driveshafts but then can the GTST's arms and watnot be used?

Hi mate,

I've done this mod, you will need to put the whole GTR diff, shafts and hubs onto your subframe. You will need to use GTR struts and lower arms too, as the GTS-t ones have different mounts. You will also need to put the GTS-t flange on the diff to meet up with your tail shaft.

It's a lot of frigging around but it's well worth doing, the GTR diff is so much better it's not funny.

Bobby.

you can still use gtst suspension. easiest way would be to unbolt the ankle/ knuckle on the gtr hub and bolt on your gtst one. but you do need to use the gtr hub as they have a different number spline.

yes you can use all gtst arms as long as you use the gtst ankle, u dont even need the gtr subframe.

the difference with the lower control arm is that the ball joint that mounts to the ankle is alot wider then the gtst one

Paul, did you swap in a 33R subframe?

I scored a free R230 (out of a z32) and hopefully some matching axles, will be interesting figuring out how to squeeze it in to the 32gtst subframe.. Should be a decent upgrade if I ever smash what's in there

Also keen to see how big these axles are, they have the same 6x1 flange as GTR's (don't have a GTR axle handy to measure but the PCD looks the same). If 32R axles bolt up then I may have to source a 32R subframe, if not then maybe z32 hubs or modify the standard ones.

Of course I didn't do it myself, I'm not going to damage my beautiful hands :D

The guys at Xspeed did it for me, from a rear cradle that Gav Beer had.

:P

When you get home (if the car is still at your place), can you have a look and report back whether the half shaft flanges are 5x1 or 6x1 and whether the tailshaft>diff connection is 4 or 6 bolts?

Cheers! :)

Dig up from the past. I have a bare S13 rear non-hicas subframe sitting on my bench at the moment. Looking at it from the rear the front passenger side mount sits approx 4mm up. There looks to be a slight kink in it where it must have taken a hit at some stage.

My question is, Will this affect the alignment settings IF i finish overhauling it and put it in the back of my 32 sedan?

I will be using adjustable arms in the back for everything also.
