Wakefield Pk Day, 12 Oct.

Team MFX is running a track/drift day at Wakefield Pk, Goulburn on Saturday October 12 (Bathurst weekend). Everyone is welcome to come down and have a run. All you need is full length clothing and a helmet. Cost is around $100 for the day, plus your lunch and fuel, etc.

More info for the 12th. We will be meeting in the carpark of Hardwarehouse/Bunnings Warehouse at 8am for an 8:30 sharp leave.

I am not sure on the time the track opens, but we will be leaving Sydney at 8:30am. It usually takes around 1 and a half to 2 hours to get down there, were we fill up with Optimax in Goulburn and then head out to the track. We should be in there signed in and on the track by 11am. I think the track closes at 5.

The date has had to be changed for the track day, due to Wakefield booking in an event. Unfortunatly the day has been moved to Tue' 15th of Oct. Meeting details remain the same. There was not much we could do, but the day is still full steam ahead, as people are already booking the days off work.

We have been assured that the day is solid now, so I hope to see you all there.

Well, it was another great day down at Wakefield, thanks to Jeff and the guys for organising (and I hope they were OK towing all those wrecks back to Sydney).

For anyone looking for a good track for their first track day, Wakefield again proved it was the place - there were only 2 cars out in the 1/2 hour sessions after 2pm - no traffic problems there!
