Boot Wont Open!?

So I have this annoying problem where my boot wont open from the leaver inside the cabin and I have to use the key. I'm not sure what type Of problem it is?

Is it an electrical issue or mechanical. Not to sure who to take it to to get fixed?

there is a "valet mode" lever, beside the catch in the boot. you might have a accidently activated it when you put something in the boot.

There is a metal "lever" that goes up and down, over time when you close the boot it slowly slides down (mine does this now) and every few days just pull it up and it shouldn't happen again until its back down.

Yep, it's prob the metal tongue. If you slam the boot - it will trigger much more often.

just a suggestion but what you can do is to use a cable tie to keep that metal thing up. loop it around the little lip that comes out and through a hole.

annoying i know if you want to use the valet mode but better than going to open your boot with the lever and being like WTF it won't open.
