I have just relocated a GTR from Perth to Melbourne. It is in storage with a flat battery and low pressure in tyres. I would like to get it checked over by Nissan when I take it out of storage. Any recommendations for Nissan dealerships in Melbourne anyone ?

I've only used Werribee Nissan. They screwed me on one occasion. This is what I had done:

- 1k pos

- 10000k service

- rear tyre puncture.

Funny, got a puncture in one at 2000km and they said the two must be replaced. I wanted to repair the puncture and they said it was not possible. Anyways found out that you could repair runflats and that they could've got away with replacing just the punctured tyre given the milage. After $2300 poorer, I'm a little bit wiser :)

Might look around for the next service but there's not many options in Melbourne's west.

i here good things about Racepace. they're something of a GTR specialist and i believe they've done work for the race-prepped R's.

As for OP. i believe theres only two GTR dealerships in VIC. Werribee and Ferntree gully.

EDIT: just realised this threads 2 years old.

hahaha.. indeed

Well I had my first experience with Moorooka Nissan here in Brisbane. Aside from the car wash which left marks all over the paint work (I had no idea they would wash it, if I did I would have said no) the service went well, even picked a noise in the rear pillar seat belt housing (common issue) which if gets worse they will replace at the 12month POS or 10,000kms service.

The service rep there didn't have too much of an idea regarding aftermarket parts (like daytime LED front lights found on the JDM's) but it was good talking to him regardless about mods and what was happening with Nissan and GT-R warranty extensions in Australia.

Also worth mentioning, I had the 6 month and 2000kms POS service done in one hit, cost only $398 inc GST which is pretty well priced IMO.
