Problem With New Unit

Ok ive replaced my old single din dvd player with one of them no brand double din touch screen dvd units, it works great only problem I'm having now is everytime I turn up the volume to about 18 and over it goes down by itself again. Anyone know why this happens? Have I wired the speakers incorrectly or is there a problem with the unit itself? I have standard speakers. I never used to have this issue with my old unit...

Any ideas?

Probably a problem with the touchscreen. May be some pressure on the screen where the volume down position is.

Hmm dont think so mate when I turn it up the volume stays at 25 etc but its only as loud as 15...

it's probably a faulty unit. theyre known for being a bit iffy. return it for a replacement.
