Hey guys,

I got my car with the LED lights already in the dash, and only now have they started flickering.

It started off only one of them, but now a few are, it seems that when I turn my lights on they are all on but then after a couple of seconds they start flickering and eventually turn off.

Can't be the fuse coz I'd assume they wouldn't work at all?

And I don't think it's the LEDs themselves otherwise they would either work or not?

Should I just check all connections and maybe splay them?

Cheers,

Jaylon

Had a go at checking the connections today and now half of the dash doesn't light up at all and the other half is fine.

I tried turning the LED 180 as I've heard they only work in one direction so I assume now that the bulb has gone.

Also now one of the triple gauge LEDs doesnt work, not sure how I managed to make that stop working when I didn't touch that side.

Pretty frustrating, especially the part where I couldn't get the three plugs undone behind the cluster so I just squeezed my hand behind it to get the bulbs out.

Hey mate,

Yeh getting behind the cluster is a pain in the ass. I've managed to get the cluster out once and the second time I struggled so I just squeezed my hand through. I would recommend checking out Dan's threads on LED lights as he or somebody else in that thread should be able to assist you and worst case scenario Dan sells good quality LEDS at pretty good prices.

You seem to already know how it all works in regard to them only working 1 way (the 180 flip you mentioned) and the only thing I was going to recommend was splaying the wires in case they arent correctly touching the terminals which would explain why they blink on and off.

I've had one of my LEDs in my dash stop working and tried turning it both ways with no luck, I had a spare which I put in and it worked perfectly. Maybe try re-arranging a working one with a non-working one just to confirm its definitely the LED itself and not another fault.

Good luck mate

Yeah good advice about re-arranging them, I've tried splaying them but that didn't work.

Been in touch with Dan, I'll see which ones are broken, prob have to buy some.

Cheers.
