Rubber O-ring On Rb26 Cas Sensor Important?

hey everyone.. just pulled my cas out and found the rubber o-ring on it is broken.. i have had a look and it doesnt seam to seal anything? so should i replace it or just go ahead without it? and replace it when i get some free time? cheers

the spacers in the ring are important... without it you'll break the CAS drive tooth in no time

it doesnt look as though it spaces anything?

for the sake of 25 cents i would fit a new one

had me worried for a second.. yeah ill go to nissan tomoz and order one.. its just the car wireing is going to be finished off this sunday and started... i just wanted to make shure its ok to run for a min or two without it... wont be gettin tuned or driven for a few more weeks... cheers man

dont need to go to nissan for it mate... just go to a place that sells seals and that kind of thing and grab a rubber o ring.
