Oil Pressure Switch/sensor. Yes? No?

evening, just finishing the oil feed for my 30 realised i dont have the oil pressure sensor plug that leads away from the block (the plug/wire thru the firewall)

now am i going to have to wire something up? does this lead to the ecu or to the dash?

also i have a microtech ecu -ive been told they dont use the knock sensors!? is this the story with the oil pressure sensor as well?

do you mean the oil pressure sensor for the idiot light on the dash?

from memory this is not ECU related and has its own control circuit etc

the ECU has no idea of oil pressure
