hey guys

i've got a r33, 95 and i've had it off the road for while.

i rego'd it today and drove it around for a few hours really smooth everything fine.

Afterwards i decided to try and swap my alarm from active mode (arms itself after 30 secs)

to passive mode (controller arms it only)

now its a really easy job to do you just move a jumper up one space.

though after doing my car won't start now for some reason?!?!

the starter motor still cranks

all electrics work (though the hazards will flash 18 times after trying to start it leading me to think the immobilisers is fkd?)

i unplugged all the alarm, still same response.

is there a easy way to bypass the immobilisers?

oh its a steele mate alarm too ( 2 point alarm with 3 way immobilisers fuel, starter, spark?)

this is what it looks like

thanks in advance

well it isnt the alarm, just try a replacement control unit and still worked fine.

i think my ecu is buggered :D

is there any way to check this? aside from the fact my cd player turns on and off with my indicators?

which has never happened before

you might want to remove this post you have just advertised to every theif and crook who reads this pages what sort of alarm you have on your car not a good idea.

hell in 5 yrs i dont think i have ever posted a pic of my car in fear it might get pinched
