ok i have a rb25 in my s15 and it is really doughy (like a couple of teeth out of timing belt)

its running a power fc computer, high mount t04z etc etc......i have fitted reground gtr cams with hydraulic lifters,

i have checked everything in the lines of cam timing, change cas, put a new z32 afm on,,,,checked ignition timing, one thing i noticed was there is onlu like 5inches/mercury at idle of vacuum, i have also mounted the afm in the drivers side inner guard on the intercooler piping......

any ideas people as in stumped??????????????????

have you degreed the cams into where they should be with cam wheels ?

done a compression test?

is it tuned ?

find out why you have such a small amount of vaccum at idle. sounds like you have a massive leak and it is probably letting out a hell of a lot of air when on boost so it will be running super rich.

there is definately no vaccum leak people

any more ideas....i have been told to try standard rb25 cams instead of the rb26 ones......any thoughts
