I noticed the NSW troops have a dinner every so often. Would anyone down here be interested in something similar? Preferences?

We tried late last year to get something regular going... but it kinda died in the ass.

Maybe a bad time of year to try something like that (christmas and all)

i'd like to meet up with jet and his whipping boy again... so yeah dinner's good... one with like proper geisha girls in kimonos n all... There's a proper jap restaurant in Fairfield near BMT's old site if anyone's interested. Yoyogi's on swanston or some near melb central... those are some to try out.

If you are going to do this I suggest somewhere like a pub with a counter meal where everyone goes up and pays when they order. Nothing worse than organising things like this then trying to get the $$$ at the end to pay for the meal.

That sh|t always happens so its best to be avoided. And pub meals are cheap and easy.

Come on! I think a nice Japanese restaurant is the go. Payment can be a hassle but most of the time people manage.
