starscream_r32
Hey all, If i've got a full 3" tbe system and need to replace the rear muffler from 3" inlet cannon to 2.5" inlet cannon, will this affect performance? and if it does how much? Reason is car is a lil loud so getting an exhaust will silencer for times when i need it quieter. Thanks! R31Nismoid
Put a middle muffler in, it would then be under 90dB provided the rear muffler is decent enough. That's legal in all states far as i know. And yes, dropping to a 2.5" could potentially cause performance loss. How much - impossible to say. Would depend on the rest of the cars mods etc Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/339195-easy-exhaust-question-will-i-lose-performance/#findComment-5479168 Share on other sites

What one man calls quiet, another calls ridiculously loud. 89/90dB is the legal limit, most people can at least reference off that Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/339195-easy-exhaust-question-will-i-lose-performance/#findComment-5479173 Share on other sites
