Are the mechanical parts for a 1996 4 door GTS skyline compatible with a 2 door GTST skyline?

depends on what sort of thing you are talking about. a lot of stuff is while some stuff isn't. some parts will fit any of the RB engines, while others will be specific to what series engine you have (so if you have a series 2 rb25 then parts from a series 1 won't fit straight on, such as coil packs)
