hey guys  i own a r34 gtt with a hi flowed turbo built by kyp from ATP in melbourne usually i run 14PSI my boost controller is a g-reddy e01 anyways on the weeknd i was driving and all of a sudden my boost controller was flashing red i looked at the reading and it said 21.7 PSI which is way unusual i adjusted all my boost settings again and it was ok but now i get random boost spikes and it wont hold boost at high rpm like it goes to 14PSI then it will drop to 11 can anyone tell me what could be possibly wrong please thanks

try this

when this happens, switch it to hi or low (depending on which one you're on) and switch it back to your original profile again (hi-low-hi/ low-hi-low), try boost it, it should fix itself

if you turn the car off and turn it on again, problem will come back, and the boost will spike again

if it's exactly like above, then it means you'll need a new boost controller

my profec B did this, so i changed it to AVCR

By pass boost controller and see where you are at. It should spike a little then drop. Massive spike would be from EBC. The Drop is a nature due to nature of high flow (exc ours with gate controllers) plus weak actuator.

just a thought since im pretty sure nothing is leaking and the acutuator is good and the turbo is fine.... could it be because i have a pod filter with the standard r34 intake hose (rubber) that it is closing up under the suction hence causing the boost to drop off ? and level out and as more air is getting it when my foot is down the boost is creaping back up ....... any thoughts would be greeat on that matter cause im having no luck atm

believe it not it was simple as a cracked hose which came off the turbo and went to the stock BOV which had been blocked with a hose as i have a after market one thanks for all ur input
