Blue Compliance Plate Replacement?

hey guys just wondering if there are any ways to get a new blue compliance plate for my car or possibly getting it re painted the original blue color?? was cleaning down the engine bay with degreasea and shit and the blue has now ran any help????

the plates are not blue. green,yellow or purple are the norm.

blue means QLD registered and that is a mod plate.

build plate. unsure. I would try nissan but I have a feeling that it is a one off plate.

no worries thanks, do you know if it is a requirement by law to have this on the car? i have the Australian import one (green) so would i still need both

dude?!?! why on earth did you take it off?? it's the build plate for the car from nissan and holds important information about your cars model, chassis number, drive line configuration even your paint code. my advice is rivet it back on if you can but as you know have no doubt found it was originally attached with tamper proof fixings.

took it off to paint the engine bay, not just cause i was bored.

bummer. it should never be removed. just mask it up and paint around it. it's a vital part of a cars identification. there is zero chance of getting a new one from nissan and you would still have the problem of getting it affixed with the tamper proof fasteners. just riveting it back on is your best option now.
