and you look in Germany where people can hit 300km per hour on free ways

and still Australias road tolls are far infront.

Officers picking on drivers who any possible reason

drive slower than the road speed limit

and you get picked on

no wonder people are having so many accidents

they have so much to worry about to avoid fines.

So, you want to overtake a truck on a country road that is doing 95kp/h, and you are limited to a maximum of 100kp/h? Quick maths on that states that you will be exposed to danger on the wrong side of the road for over 40 seconds, where as at 120kp/h it drops to 8.5seconds (assumption made that to overtake the truck at a steady speed you need to gain 60m on the truck)

It's still illegal to speed whilst overtaking though.......
