What Size Tyre - R34 Rear With 18x9.5 + 38

Hey guys,

Just purchased some new wheels for my R34 GT-T and am wondering what size tyre is doable for the rear.

Front is 18 x 8.5 +30 with 235/40/18

Rear is 18 x 9.5 + 38 - Unsure what size tyre? Any hope of squeezing a 265/35/18 or is a 245/40(?35)/18 a better bet?

I am not too keen to roll the rear guards. Car is currently stock suspension but I think I will think about lowering some time this year.

Would 235 front and 265 also be too much of stagger with regards to handling and understeer also?

Many many R33 GTSTs and R34 GT-Ts are running 9.5 inch rims with 265 tyres. iI have them on my R33, they fit fine and look great.

I also have 235s on the front, with the 265s on the rear. Handles fine for street tyres. I use Semi slicks 235 all round for the track though.
