Hey guys,

Ive recently imported a SII R33 GTST, and am wondering what to install, ecu wise. Im aware that there is only so much you can do modification wise before upgrading the ecu. What's a good, aftermarket ecu, thats not ridiculously expensive and what advantages will i gain? Ivee heard a lot about Apexi PFC's being quite good, but other then this im unaware of what else is out there.

Any help/information is muchly appreciated

Cheers

Yeah PFCs are good, no wiring needed so it saves you a fair bit there. Almost every tuner tunes them, the only downside is they aren't sold by apexi anymore (f**k knows why) so you'll need a second hand one.

Nistune is another option, they are a daughter board that installs onto your stock ECU and allows you to tune from there.

Depends what sort of power you want in the end.

I'm gonna make a risky call here:

stock -> 300kw: nistune.

stock -> 400kw: PFC

400kw and up: PFC D-jetro (different model that allows you do ditch the AFMs and use MAP sensors as the load source...

Heaps of other options, like haltech, EMS, volf, etc... But Nistune and PFC are your best options IMO.
