Vented Bonnet + No Spark Plug Cover = Bad?

[R-SPEC]

Hi just wondering if this is safe or not, i currently have a vented bonnet, when bonnet closed the vent sits on top of the intercooler pipe/cam gear cover so its right at the front of the engine

i change my plugs usually when i do an oil etc change every 5-10Ks and its a pain in the ass removing the coil pack cover everytime so i just wana keep it off

would this be ok or should i put the cover back on?

dont see how it could cause a major problem unless rain comes in...? depends on the design of the vent tho i guess...

otherwise it would just help keep the coilpacks cooler

if you were worried about it you could always just cut the coil cover in half and just put the front half on and just use 2 bolts to hold it there.
