Strange Tapping Noise Under Dash

Hi all,

does anyone know what this would be?

when I start the r33 there is a strange tapping noise coming from in the dash somwhere

it lasts for about 5 - 10 seconds and stops

it's a fairly loud knocking noise

eveything seems to work fine though

ANY IDEAS ????

its normal. your Aircon has a plastic gear that directs flow to your feet, windscreen etc. its worn and slipping. search, theres a fix somewhere on this forum

its the blend door actuator motor it has a stripped cog u can pull them apart and rotate the cog 180 degs or look for a good secondhand one i have a spare for 50 bucks if you want to replace yours

As others have said... it's a known issue that happens on the 33s...

There's a good DIY to fix it here... I did it on mine a couple of weeks ago - perfect
