Gtr Injector Question.

hey all.

just got a set of gtr injectors that i'm going to put in my rb20..they're off ebay, and have been cleaned and flow tested.

i got them today and 2 of the injectors are red and the rest are yellow..i think the 2 red ones are rx7 injectors..

just wanted to know if it matters if i ran the 2 rx7 with the 4 gtr injectors..the previous owner said he ran all 6 of them fine in his gtr.

i'm getting a remap anyway and assuming that the flow rates and duty cycle can be set so they all are the same?

what do people think?

I hate to say it but you got screwed. I'm not sure on the flow rate of rx7 injectors or if they are them but you cannot run injectors with mismatched flow rates. If the two odd ones flow more than the gtr injectors those two cylinders will run richer and there's no way you can control each injector individually.

well actually you can adjust each injector individually, depending on what ecu you are using but most these days let you adjust to suit,

BUT

you need to have exhaust gas temp sensor on each exhaust manifold runner to be able to adjust them correctly

I meant when remapping a stock ecu and yes i should've added that.
