So I've just installed a sandwich plate with pressure and temperature sensors. I have a temperature gauge and I'm using the Defi VSD thing to view the pressure. Ultimately I plan to configure the Defi link controller as an idiot light for oil pressure and was advised (by a CA18DET owner) that the engine should idle at around 30 psi and I should set the warning to about 20 or 25.

However mine is idling at more like 20, it briefly dropped as low as 16 when the engine was running like a bag of crap due to me forgetting to reattach the boost sensor hose.

Is this normal, and what should I set the warning light to? I'm running 10w50 fully synthetic Silkolene Pro S if it makes a difference.
