Up for sale is my MY97 Subaru WRX, a mechanically immaculate example of one.

Only tasteful modifications on this one. A close friend of mine is an ex Capital Subaru mechanic and WRX enthusiast, and helped me pick this example out of many.

I have owned this car for one year, after buying it from a mature Sydney owner. Reason for selling is I am looking to calm down from the "0 – 100 in less than 6 seconds" acceleration and looking for something a little easy on the fuel. I am interested in swapping for a stock, low kilometres, Mazda NB MX-5 with cash either way.

The car is always fed premium oil (only 98+ octane goes in him) and serviced at a Subaru specialist (Subaroo Servicing Mitchell). I have all service records, and receipts for all work done to prove it.

The Good:

  • New Radiator

  • New 3 " turbo back exhaust with 2.5" tip (because of noise)

  • Well below average kms for its age

  • 17" rims

The Bad:

  • Minor stone chips on bonnet

  • Scrapes and scruffs found on cars of this age

If you are interested, give me a call any time. If I am sleeping/at work/driving I will get back to you as soon as I can. Only specialists touch her.

Price is 12990 negotiable. Located in Canberra

No test pilots please. Genuine buyers only.

If everyone could ignore the tattered Nardi steering wheel, it has since been replaced with a nice "drift" steering wheel (nice and chucky like an M3's, but not to heckticzzzzz) but I haven't the time to take pictures.
