Love350GT
Hey guys The passenger side window is broken today, it cannot be up or down and when you close the door the auto-up is gone. I can actually hear a click sound came inside the door when I was pressing the button (That means the circuit still work?)... Anyone have this before? Problem with the motor? How much to fix it.... My car is 2003 coupe and now i am soooo pissed.. VNS 24
Is the car still under warranty? If so, take it back to your dealer and they should fix it for free as it is mechanical, not electrical. Good luck. interfooler
Common problem. Mine is having it as well, on the driver's side. Yet to get to fixed. If your window is stuck and you just want get it to shut temporarily, try this: hold your window switch UP, then bum the door from the inside. It should go up. If it still doesn't, just apply more force. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/340342-help-the-window-doesnt-work/#findComment-5495561 Share on other sites

Have a read of Chris's fourth post. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/V3...ng-t240794.html If you've got any electrical/audio/suspension etc issues, check that thread before posting, it's quite helpful Edited October 13, 2010 by diabolique Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/340342-help-the-window-doesnt-work/#findComment-5495658 Share on other sites

With our Aussie dollar being this good, it's only natural to take advantage of sourcing parts from the US. Have a look at this - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GENUINE-NIS...sQ5fAccessories $AU173 + $AU27 for shipping. $AU200 looks like a good deal to me Edited October 13, 2010 by diabolique Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/340342-help-the-window-doesnt-work/#findComment-5495708 Share on other sites

VNS 24
Thanks a lot mate, but the warranty is nothing, only if your engine blow up... Ok. I just asked because when I bought mine, I took extra options on warranty such as windows issue. Good luck anyway. Thanks mate. Surprise!! The window is back today! I didn't touch anything and it just work again...I can just assume the program screwed up... HOWEVER, at the same time, the door lock lost its function.. When I use the remote control to lock and quickly unlock, the passenger side door was still lock but the drive side just fine. Same thing happened if you unlock the door and quickly lock again, the passenger side door coundn't lock by itself.. BUT, if you wait, for half an hour or longer then you press unlock (or lock), it work again! What the Hell is this.. My suggestion is just have a check next time you service your car...because you don't want to be stuck at some random place and can't wind up the windows or lock the doors. You're better off spending the extra $$$ and replacing the door-lock solenoids and the window motors/regulators. As Victor said, you don't want to be in a random place with windows down and doors which don't lock . I wouldn't ignore these issues if I were U. Chris Rogers
given you are experiencing these issues NOW I would strongly suggest instead of talking about it on a forum - FIX IT! when the windows die on these cars they do it WITHOUT WARNING! if that is down then you are really screwed. all the chatter about resetting them and programs going wrong - totally off target. these are known mechanical issues on these cars (up to 2006.11) and they should be fixed the first sign of trouble. if you are having full door issues then I would do ALL 4 items. that way you have a known constant (yes it will kill your wallet.) and piece of mind that it is all new gear (forget sourcing second hand = hand grenade.) and it will last another 5-6 years. in the past day I have been asked to supply 4 door actutators from 4 different people. I think that says something. if you want very little hassle from a car and more fun you prbably should have bought a nissan instead of a renault ( I can say that - I own a R32.) Should get it fix.. This is a good car, love to drive it. but since i have bought the car, she actually gives me some headaches, such as, window, door, wasting tank leaking, fuel damper fail, break vibration...etc. I get some of them fixed but new problems keep coming up. What can I say? --- I still love it, as long as I still have $$$ in my wallet...
