power fc trouble

I've just got my new power fc and when i put it in and turned the ignition it would not start but it was making a clicking sound from the power fc.

I think it might have something to do with the chopped wires from where things have been hooked up and taken off, such as guages and stuff.

any idea's?

put the stock one back in, take the power fc and ur car down to a performance shop that knows about power fc's and show em what the G.O is. thats ur best bet champ

The powerFC itself was making a clicking sound?

Do you have the hand controller?

Remember that by default the PowerFC has a boost controller setting set to "Yes" and will not start without the boost controller plugged in. You need to turn that option off on the Hand controller.

If the powerFC is clicking thats probably bad, is it brand new?

I had a problem with my pfc not starting or priming the fuel pump for long enough.

It turned out to be a fault power supply line from the battery which would work on stock ecu but not with the pfc.

I've got it booked into a auto electrican, hopefully the can fix the problem.

The Power Fc and commander is brand new and we tested it in my brothers R33 and it works fine.

I think it may have something to do with an earth wire because when the ecu is touching the support bolts it start but when it's touching it will not start.

Check your main32V 30A fuse

I should add when removing the stupid turbo timer on mine the pos hit earth on the steering column. When trying to start car afterwards power fc was clicking but no action. Ended up being blown fuse. Maybe on your install you shorted the loom too. Hope this helps.
