It's a third party claim through AAMI as i was not insured, good result all up tho.

I've just had a very nice offer for the wreck which I'm waiting to finalise, I am going to come close to getting all of my money back and will have something to work with to get another one when I'm ready.

Put a deposit on a 1996 Nissan Maxima A32 30G last weekend, pick it up this weekend, atleast I will have something to get around in on my xmas break.

i'm keep my eyes on what is around but not in a mega rush, wait until something just right comes along.

I will have to bring the Maxima to a cruise one Thursday night soon :P

I used to have one of them as well, well a 3.0 S Touring...

It was my first Nissan and the car we bought 10 years ago when I first arrived in AUS... Put 160,000 km on it in 7 years, it never missed a beat and did a solid 9 l/100km.. Only sold it because of the mileage and we were pregnant with our first and wanted something a bit safer. Traded it, and a 94 Micra, for 7K on a 99 Saab 95 SE, which is the wifes car.. Was only supposed to be a stop gap before she got a Territory, but once she was in the Saab and I upgraded my R33 for the M35, didn't see any need... Both kids fit in the back of both cars without any problems, and still room for 3 adults...
