hey everyone! in my time spent in the photography forum i have noticed alot of very neat pics ect

i am currently designing a business card for my parents shop (we sell exhaust systems, rotors, pads, intakes ect... we are just starting off and still have alot of growing to do)

with the business card im aiming to have a picture in the background, along with text on the front such as the business name "performance car parts online" and contact details.

now this is where i need some help

i need to find a good image to use for the card.

a car with flames out of the exhaust, glowing rotors or just an action shot?

can anyone help?

here are some examples

Well...i have a tonne of photos you can browse through, not sure what kind of cars you're after/shots in particular your after though.

There is a lot of talent on here! I'm sure you'll find something you like!

Otherwise we are doing a shoot for SAU calendar in 2 weeks. Some shots will look like the 2nd shot you posted.

I've got a lamborghini club of Australia shoot this sunday although i'd have to clear with them if you can use an image.

This is just off the top of my head what i have in regards to flame shots.. Nothing as epic as that GT2!!

thats some great photography!

im looking for street cars to be honest, something people can half relate to... (so the supra would be more appropriate)

do you have a website or a link to where i could browse your photos?

thank you

I can see that supra on a card easy. cut the background, have the track/flames/road along the bottom, should give you room around and above it for your details with out distractions. would look pretty ace.

Dont know how much you know about graphic design, but whatever you do, just dont put text over the image. Unless there is empty space. Adobe Indesign has a 'feather gradient' option that will fade the picture away on the edge. You can then add text to any photo you have if you need to.

Oh, and make sure your image is 300dpi and has bleed!

Cards all sorted now I just gave some images to a designer to get them done. Was way to busy with my course (building design and tech) will post some pics. 300dpi is what I use on all my Photoshop work
