baby34
If you mean what car you have? Its an Skyline R33 GTS Series 2.. With Nismo Bodykit. And as for a turbo.. Your best off selling your current car and buying a turbo 33... pharlap
Also another dumb question At the moment im putting 95 unleaded in it, can it take 91? Just curious as it costs abit to fill up Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/341016-general-information/#findComment-5504678 Share on other sites
mad082
it's natro? then yes you could, but you are better off using 95. just use e10 if you want to save money. just make sure it is a 94 or 95 octane e10. baby34
99% of skyline owners use 98 Octane, however since urs is N/A. You can use 91.. or 95.... I did it in my skyline n/a and it was fine.. 98 is usually only for Forced inducted skylines Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/341016-general-information/#findComment-5505864 Share on other sites
.:: GimpS-R34 ::.
don't forget that 95/98 will give you better milage though.. so just check offset of cost vs l/km.. also higher octane is cleaner.. mad082
doesn't always give you better economy, at least not in my experience. over the past few months i have tried 3 different fuels (for a few weeks per brand to get a good idea of the economy, not just a 1 off). i've been using caltex 98, bp ultimate and united e10. i have found them all to be within a few % of each other. most times economy is within 0.5L/100km of each other no matter what type it is for similar types of driving. i get just as much variance between individual tanks of fuel of the 1 type as i did when i changed brands. for the extra cost of the 98 over the e10, it certainly didn't give enough of an economy increase to balance out. i should note that this was tested in the missus SSS pulsar. SKiT_R31
Wind like 30 degree ignition timing into it and then run 98 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/341016-general-information/#findComment-5506772 Share on other sites
