To build up an RB23 from a RB20 I have been told that you need the RB25 Crank and Rods but what pistons are needed for this conversion?

The reason I ask is that I intend to do this build up. It's different so I thought why not since I have the rods and crank already(RB25) and an RB20 bench motor that I intend for a tear down and rebuild.

Any ideas people. :)

you need 82 mmm pistons zooom recons you can use 4agze pistons not sure about thne there is an 82 mm head gasket avaliable from tomei.

I alway thought about doing this but figured I'd go rb 25 instead or some thing and the some thing else is the sr.

there was one for sale in japan a little while back with a t88 made 595 or so

Sounds interesting a small T 4 would probalby be good on this type of combo depends on what you want from it. to make it worth while I would do cams 264 or so and a bit of head work. your imporvments will be mainly in torque area.

If you get on SDU a guy with the nick JONJON has done this in japan

good luck
