how accurate is solidworks for cfd analysis?

it is generally pretty good for everything else, never heard any reports on the flow stuff though.

I think it is fairly impressive. You can't just use the software without first having a basic understanding of fluid dynamics though. Else the results wouldn't really have much meaning

unfortuantley I have a test dummy rb20 already lined up...but this will be more for pushing the boundaries as it is being replaced with a 26/30.

Unfortunatley....as always time, or lack of, and other orders get in the way. I haven't yet had a chance to get something sorted out, but the closer the test dummy is to me the better. That way I can ensure the the most consistent of results and the test producing the results (meaning comparison of not just peak hp but also hp per psi) which I am after.

Trust me, as soon as I have the results, I will be posting them, good or bad.
