I have been looking into possibly buying an M35 stagea as a family car and was surprised to see that they came in a 3.5ltr V6 which bolted up to an ATTESSA AWD system as an option.

I own a 33 GTR and naturally I got these power greedy thoughts on the possibilities of dropping a 3.5ltr v6 into a GTR and whacking the turbos up to it. I know just because it has an attessa awd doesn't mean the GTR driveline will hook up.

but has anybody thought about it, or know of it being tried.

3.5 litres of all alloy motor with a couple of snails on the side sounds very meaty to me.

indeed...but auto only. also the location of the driveshafts is unlikely to be anywhere near the right place.

better idea.....buy a rb30 block for a case of beer, put a 3.4l stroker crank in it.

heaps of cubes but none of the don't fit problems.

350 6 speed would be usless in a gtr

Anything is possible with a bit of engineering and thought...and money of course, as "STATUS" said.

VQ are gathering momentum, I believe UAS in Seven Hills are the experts on this motor on the east side of Aust, having put a few in different cars.

Notice I said the engine...not the car :)

I was also talking about the engine

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TVR_Speed_Six_engine

from the wiki

"......The engine's prototypes (sometimes referred to as AJP-6) were designed and delivered by independent engineer Al Melling (the "A" in AJP) as both 3.6 and 4.0 litre units. It is reputed that many of its key design elements (particularly the valvetrain) were first seen in the 1991 Suzuki GSX-R750M motorcycle engine, which was also a Melling designed unit....."
