Head Light Problems.

Ok well i got a new light about a month ago and put it in but didnt do it propelly as i coulldnt be bothered. Last night i started to take the head light out as it came out the earth wire started dangling around. But the thing is im not to sure were the earth was actually wired theres no terminal for it ethier if you know what im trying to say. Ill probably check my fuses sometime today and get some wiring to make a new earth but could there be any other reason this could of happened? Also even when you put onto high beam the light still dosent work.

Oh i have an r32 gte aswell. with r32 gtst lights im pretty sure.
