yeah in a pure track car you wont need the controller I have. Cheapest way would be having a water temp gauge/display and turn on the fan when required, but you wouldnt like to forget cause the temperatures will shoot straight up. You are better off just getting a simple temperature trigger controller. You can pick them up for under $50 etc

i have a davies craig set-up with this controller and wondering if i can hook up a manual override aswell?post-69586-1288853394_thumb.jpg

Better off contacting Davies Craig and see if they can get back with any information. The easiest way would be to wire up a relay with a switch on the dash to trigger 12v power to the fans.

im currently in the process of a few cooling upgradeson my cefiro drift car.

got an ISC 52mm rad and a brand new AU thermo setup, but the shroud is too thick, and hits the power steering pump pulley.

i cant slide it down to position at all.

i have exactly 6.5cm room between rad and nut on the pulley, and the shroud is 7cm... im not just sure if i can trim it thinner seeing as the fan hub is also 7cm...

it all comes down to where the shroud is positioned rlative to the pulley nut i suppsose lol

ffs nothing it easy :domokun:
